The Ocean in the City Project

‘The Ocean in the City’ is about… how we connect to the ocean in the city. The project is split into two image series. One is about the strange workings of accidental, unintended and official links such as street names or opening your hair & nail salon in a former seafood shop without changing the sign. The second one is about personal connections. For this part, the mermaid visits Londoners in their homes or meets them in places where they connect to the ocean. She then photographs what that particular person wants to do/show & talks about it with them.
