the mermaid visits the baltic sea – day 2

on the second day, the mermaid visited a lighthouse. she found out that most lighthouses are automated nowadays, which means they are not staffed with human hermits anymore who made nice cups of tea for mermaids in need. she had already noticed that the sea hermits were hardly in nowadays. the lighthouse also housed an exhibition on coastal formation and coastal fauna. it even had a fish toilet – possibly for the strange species of jellyfish treasurers i encountered.

she also visited a place that was teeming with artists (and therefore strange beach installations?) and went to an exhibition on human impressions of sea life by an artist called ulla enghusen, a very observant lady who even managed to capture rare lobster dance moves.
