stitch a squid

the mermaid has just heard that land and merfolk are invited to stitch a squid. no, this is not a medical workshops, but you get to knit and stitch a tiny squid for yourself or for the natural history museum’s squid collection! the organisers emphasise that if you decide to take your squid home, you have to ‘promise to feed him and keep his tentacles tangle free’. i guess you could also make a female squid…
the event runs between 6-9.30 pm and appears to be free of charge. one of the mermaid’s friends is teaching!
